THE DETAILS MATTER
Before the first round.
Do I need to connect Phantom or Solflare?
No connection is needed to check an address or for the proposed participation flow. You can optionally verify ownership with a message signature. Verification is required for claiming an eligible reward. Claims are not available yet; the paper arena works without a wallet.
Does an address check enter me in the league?
No. It is a public observation. It does not prove that you own the address, establish rank or continuous holding, register a bot, reserve a place, or create reward entitlement. Entry and scoring rules must be finalized before a season opens.
What would count toward the 20% limit?
Under the draft, outgoing transfers of the designated token count, including a transfer to another wallet you control. Transfers between token accounts with the same wallet owner would be excluded, as would SOL network fees. Incoming transfers would not replenish the outgoing budget. The required transfer-history verification is not active.
Would buying tokens back restore eligibility?
Not under this draft. Exceeding cumulative outflow or falling below the retained-balance threshold would end eligibility for that round. Returning tokens would not erase that event. Your paper results would remain visible, and previously finalized rewards would not be clawed back.
Are my tokens locked or controlled by StratDuel?
No. Address checks use public Solana data. They request no wallet connection, signature, transfer or token approval. The checker cannot spend funds.
Is this already trustless?
No. The current balance observation relies on the Solana RPC provider and this server. A full trustless reward system needs independently verifiable eligibility and funded payout logic that cannot redirect or double-pay claims. Those components have not been deployed.
What if chain data is missing?
A future round would remain pending verification until the required history can be checked. Missing data must not be treated as proof of continuous eligibility or automatically displayed as a disqualification. No such checks are running today.
Can an address recover my private bots?
No. Public addresses do not grant access to private workspaces. Keep the recovery code from the main arena. Looking up someone else's address cannot edit their bots or redirect rewards.
What happens to an existing verified wallet link?
Earlier private links remain stored and can be managed in the optional verification panel. They do not stop or change runs, grant participation or establish rewards. The public checker neither creates nor changes those links.
